Job Description:
This job consists of leading day to day wild game meat processing. Experience is required. Must work as a team and help with various day to day tasks. Shop based work environment Responsibilities/Skills
  • Meat processing experience is required
  • Book new drop offs appropriately
  • Skin, quarter, debone, trim, and process game animals according to company procedure
  • Properly trim meat to meet company quality standards
  • Grind, mix, and package ground meat and specialty products.
  • Prepare products such as sausage, jerky, snack sticks, hamburger, steaks, roasts, and other specialty items
  • Accurately weigh meat and portion products according to customer specifications
  • Package, label, date, and store finished products correctly.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Organizational skills needed
  • Knowledge of basic tool/knife etiquette
  • Knowledge of basic safety procedures
  • Respect for wildlife and ethical guidelines
  • Able to keep a clean and sanitary work space
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
