Position will support Goodwill Industries of San Antonio in maintaining the efficient operation of DGR Central Processing. Primary responsibility of the position is to facilitate meeting and exceeding Central Processing assigned production goals and objectives. Team Leader/DGR Central Processing is a critical job function designed to support the organization in its mission to help change lives through the power of work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement work schedules, estimate team member-hour requirements. Accountable for team member coverage for the entire central processing area. Assign and coordinate work tasks of team members, participants, and volunteers in processing, pricing, merchandising, and rotation functions to achieve daily production goals. Provide on-the-job training; safety standard training and performance expectations. Monitor and follow up on work assignments for participants, volunteers and team members. Recommend personnel action, such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures to management. Provide input to CP Management for evaluation of team members' performance and appraisal. Assist in work shift headcount requirements by managing toward daily production objectives and following established procedures. Treat team members in a friendly and courteous manner. Provide a good leadership example to the CP team. Inspire and motivate the CP Team Members toward goal achievement. Maintain and monitor ALL CP production goals on a daily and weekly basis. Learn Goodwill's systems and procedures to enhance production efficiencies. Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting Goodwill's commitment to our employees

Maintain good housekeeping standards and maintaining CP work area in good order. Adhere to, and ensure adherence to, all Loss Prevention and inventory control and safety compliance, risk management, and ethics policies and procedures. Safeguard donations and all Goodwill property and resources; secure from harm, theft, accidental loss, or disposal. Promptly investigate or participate for all reported incidents. Ensure proper use of company equipment and property according to Goodwill business standards. Provide a safe working environment and ensure team members work safely and that unsafe conditions are immediately addressed and corrected. Conduct weekly huddle, safety inspections, investigates accidents, complete related reports in an accurate and timely basis, and takes corrective action to prevent recurrences. Take proactive steps in preventing accidents.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). 6 months experience in a service-driven; supervisory role. Basic computer skills. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Available to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day.
