Job Description

Pet Food Plant Experienced Production Leads FAT-CAT Fish Company - Bellingham, WA Great Pay, Great People and Great Opportunity for Advancement Year-round, full-time positions, with OT as needed during busy summer/fall season. Multiple Shifts available. Essential Functions for
Production Leads:
Previous Production Lead Experience Required Manages production line pertaining to training, quality, workmanship, productivity, recovery, sanitation, and employee practices. Ensures proper use of protective gear, safe operation and use of machinery and chemical agents. Reports continuing performance and attendance issues to supervisor. Answers questions from workers pertaining to production processes and equipment operation. Monitors production efficiency and makes adjustments to improve production capacity. Notifies maintenance workers of equipment malfunctions. Fills in on equipment and production line to substitute for absentee workers. Maintains product workflow records. Assures compliance with all safety and production practices. Trains workers in equipment operation, processing and safety procedures. Communicates with supervisors or management any problems or concerns. Performs activities of workers supervised.
Additional Production Lead Responsibilities:
Actively participates in safety policies, activities and implementations. Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned. You are a good candidate if you meet the following requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Previous food processing experience is preferred Able to work in cold temperatures winter and warm temperatures summer Able to stand during shift and lift up to 50 pounds Respectful and cooperative of superiors with a positive team influence on crew Willing to stay on for overtime as necessary Must be able to pass drug screen.
