Kitchen Lead Breauxdoo Bakery - 5.0 Spokane, WA Job Details Full-time $19 - $21 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Bakery Attention to detail Production planning Packaging Donut preparation Full Job Description Position Summary The Kitchen Lead is responsible for managing daily bakery production, coordinating workflow based on incoming orders, and ensuring products meet our quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines baking, production planning, inventory awareness, and team coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced in a commercial kitchen or bakery environment. They enjoy leading by example and thrive in a fast-paced production setting. Responsibilities Review incoming orders and create daily production plans Coordinate baking schedules to ensure all wholesale and retail orders are completed on time Lead and assist with the preparation, mixing, baking, finishing, and packaging of products Monitor product quality and consistency throughout production Assign tasks and guide production staff during shifts Maintain accurate production records and communicate inventory needs Help manage ingredient preparation and organization Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Troubleshoot production issues and adjust schedules as needed Assist with training new team members and reinforcing bakery procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Qualifications 2+ years of commercial baking, kitchen leadership, or food production experience preferred Strong understanding of baking processes and production workflow Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Experience with wholesale production or high-volume food production is a plus Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation and dependable attendance What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and team-first mindset Ability to stay calm under pressure Natural leadership skills and accountability Passion for producing high-quality products Commitment to consistency and continuous improvement If you enjoy baking, leading a team, and taking ownership of daily production, we'd love to hear from you.
