Case Erector (2nd Shift- 2pm to 10pm_

PM Hourly Rate:

$20.63 an hour + $1.00 shift differential Conagra Brands, a leading supplier of Birds Eye products in Darien, WI, is seeking a Case Erector to join our production team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring packaging operations run smoothly and efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of one of Conagra's largest manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities Read and follow production schedule instructions accurately. Set up, operate, and adjust case erector, conveyors, auto casers or hand casers, case taper, case coder, and palletizer to meet production requirements and specifications. Inspect and prepare cases and other packaging materials for production. Ensure proper flow of materials to the production line and maintain consistent supply. Monitor equipment and product quality, stopping production and reporting any serious deviations or equipment malfunctions. Assist with start-up, changeover, and shutdown activities, including equipment tear-down and preparation for cleaning. Protect products from contamination and monitor finished goods for proper temperature control. Provide guidance to line workers on packaging operations. Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to meet physical requirements and perform all duties safely. Strong communication skills to work effectively within the team. Knowledge of or willingness to learn: Food handling and packaging practices Safe working practices Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Quality control and critical control points Allergen and bloodborne pathogen control Reliable and consistent attendance with strong attention to detail. Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
