Full Job Description Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Days/Weekends. Shift start times at 5:00 am Tuesday through Saturday. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. You will support production, retail food venue, patient meals, and catering operations to ensure the right food is available for the right person at the right time. We are seeking a Culinary Production Assistant who: Follow standardized recipes and production schedules to prepare, portion, weigh, package, and label large batch food items Adhere to Wisconsin Food Code, ServSafe, and UW Health standards Manage ingredient rotation, monitor critical control points, and sanitize equipment to keep food/meal production on schedule Culinary Production Assistants are eligible for: Paid time off, including 15 days of vacation time for full-time employees. A free bus pass to assist with transportation to and from work. Continuing education for both professional and personal growth.
