Wage:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8AM to 530PM OR until done Overview As a Food Packager, you will be essential in ensuring that high-quality meat products are wrapped, boxed, and labeled efficiently to meet company standards. Working in a cool, damp environment, you'll operate various equipment such as tenderizing, shrink wrap, tenderloin peeling, and meat grinding machines while maintaining a focus on safety and quality. Your efforts will help meet fluctuating production needs, making this a perfect position for motivated individuals seeking stability and advancement. Required Skills Ability to stand continuously for 8 to 10 hours. Ability to lift frequently between 10 to 60 pounds, with occasional lifts over 60 pounds. Basic familiarity with sanitation and packaging processes. Comfortable working in a cool, damp environment at 40-45 degrees. Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and background check. Nice to Have Skills Prior experience in food processing or packaging preferred. Experience operating machinery such as shrink wrap or meat grinders a plus. Familiarity with working in cold storage or freezer environments. Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred. Other Requirements Flexibility to work hours that can extend until 7:30 PM depending on business needs. Willingness to work overtime if required. Availability for a work environment that may include damp or cool temperatures and exposure to freezer conditions.
