$15.70 - $20.61 Reports to: Transportation Supervisor and Director of Transportation The Bus Aide is instrumental in assuring a safe and pleasant transportation school bus ride for students. Maintains positive and professional rapport with students, parents and school staff.Essential Functions:
Performs safe, routine loading and unloading of passengers. Monitors students on the bus; ensures safe, orderly conduct of students while on bus. Assists bus driver with operation of wheelchair lift. Assists with student supervision and discipline. Assists sub-drivers with routing and directions. Checks the entire bus for passengers and belongings at the end of each trip. Assists with bus cleaning and sanitizing Ensures that all work is completed in accordance with District policy and applicable state and federal laws.Training and Experience:
High School Diploma. Physical Performance Test (Provided by District) Valid CPR and First Aid certifications (Provided by District).Menta Method Certification:
Crisis Prevention, De-Escalation, and Intervention (Provided by District). IVP Level 1Fingerprint Clearance Card Salary Placement:
