The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a background in childcare or education, with the ability to manage behaviors effectively. This role is essential in providing support to students, creating a positive and safe environment on the bus. Responsibilities Supervise students during their bus rides, ensuring their safety at all times. Assist students in boarding and disembarking the bus Manage student behavior and resolve conflicts as they arise, promoting a respectful atmosphere. Be able to communicate effectively Implement behavior management strategies to support students' needs. Provide first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for all passengers. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization on the bus. Qualifications MUST be a Washington, DC resident MUST be able to pass a background check and drug test Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively. Ability to demonstrate patience and understanding when working with diverse student populations. First aid certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
