BASIC DESCRIPTION

Responsible for providing outstanding customer service in passenger services related activities, baggage acceptance, passenger documentation, system actualization, proper air fare and excess baggage charges.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience is a plus. Good Customer service and excellent communicator. High School or GED achieved, higher education is a plus. The requirements listed below are representative of documentation required: At least 18 years of age. Legal to work in United States of America TSA Security Clearance CBP clearance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Computerized check-in passengers for international and domestic travel Seat assignments for the passengers. Verify documentation for international and domestic flights Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned flight. Verify ticket and seat reservations. Match manifest to on board count Assist with various governmental agency requirements Connect and disconnect jet way/stairs as necessary. Maintain liaison with airlines and customer representatives and ground handlers. Announce arrivals and departures as necessary. Maintain current knowledge of all flight times during shift. Provide information to customers Assist with baggage tagging and claim reports Close and transfer the flight information. Make all sales reports. Use the airport ID only during working hours. . Any other task assigned by his/her superior Work as a Team member with respect on a multicultural working environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to lift 0-70 pounds Bending - sporadically and as needed. Handling bags, boxes, wheelchairs, mobility devices, baby strollers, walking devices.
