Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in loading and unloading of students from school bus, including the evacuation of bus Responsible to attend classes in CPR/First Aid and other training sessions as directed Appropriately secure harnesses/seat belts and wheelchairs with safety equipment Assist with student medical needs; including seizures Supervise and provide care for students on bus Collect and maintain data related to students' goals, objectives, medical or emotional needs Represent school district in a professional manner during interactions with students, school community and staff Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to push/pull approximately 100 lbs.; ability to lift/move 50 lbs. Able to complete and pass annual essential job function testing Possesses strong interpersonal skills in working with students, school community and staff Maintains a high level of confidentiality Maintains a high level of personal and professional flexibility Crisis Prevention training preferred High School Diploma or GED required

Hours:
Approximately:
6:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.; generally runs the school year, summer work may also be available.
Rate of Pay:
Per Master Agreement with
