10 Month Position Summary To assist in providing safe transportation so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district's curriculum and extracurricular program Essential Duties Assists the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus. Inspects transportation passes to prevent unauthorized travel. Assists young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus. Assures that students get on and off the bus in an orderly fashion. Provides written records of violations of the student code to the Transportation Supervisor. Collects and turns over to the school secretary those personal items left on the bus by students. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Education/Experience Requirements High School Diploma/GED required Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Physical Requirements Position includes lifting, holding children Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Disclosure This document provides descriptive information about the above Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School position.
