The monitor works closely with the bus driver to oversee student behavior and safety. Candidates must be willing and able to assist with wheelchairs as needed. Responsibilities:

Assist the driver in ensuring student safety at all times. Attend all required safety meetings and participate in training, including:

• Emergency evacuation procedures
• Proper methods for loading and unloading
• Supporting students with medical or behavioral needs (e.

g., epilepsy, diabetes) Build positive relationships with students and families; support student management in collaboration with the driver. Operate safety equipment, including wheelchair tie-downs and lifts, and follow all emergency protocols.
