In this role, you will oversee the planning, organization, and execution of soccer activities, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children and teenagers. Your passion for sports, coaching expertise, and ability to manage behavior will help foster teamwork, skill development, and a love for the game. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate soccer curricula and training sessions that promote skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Coordinate schedules for practices, games, tournaments, and special events to maximize participation and enjoyment. Supervise coaches, volunteers, and participants during all activities to ensure safety protocols are followed. Manage equipment inventory, ensuring all gear is maintained, organized, and ready for use. Foster a positive environment by encouraging good behavior, managing conflicts effectively, and promoting inclusive participation. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding program updates, schedules, and participant progress. Collaborate with other sports coordinators to integrate multi-sport activities such as basketball or cheerleading when appropriate. Experience Prior experience working with children or youth in sports coaching or teaching roles. Background in soccer coaching or playing at a competitive or recreational level. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and promote positive interactions among participants. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate young athletes while ensuring safety standards are met.
