The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade. •A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies•Nature of Work This is entry-level work in the Montgomery County Detention Facility. Employees of this class are responsible for the scheduling of inmate recreation times as well as the maintenance and care of recreational areas and equipment. Employees in the class monitor inmates during recreational time. Work is performed under the general supervision of a Captain or the Detention Facility Administrator. Minimum Qualifications High School/GED and six (6) months experience in scheduling or developing recreational programs for adults to include selecting appropriate equipment and activities. Three college level courses in recreational programming or physical education can be substituted for the six (6) months experience.
