Resident Activities Coordinator Westchester Gardens Bakersfield, CA Job Details Full-time $17.25 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Transporting special needs passengers Working with seniors Driver's License Personal transportation assistance Passenger pickup and drop-off Full Job Description Activity director need to be creative, have a passion for helping others and possess excellent communication, social skills and patience. Activity director will be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing activities that suite the needs and physical limitations of the elderly. Activity director must be able to observe and report changes in the residents abilities to perform tasks and create an activity that the resident can successfully participate in. The activity director will utilize the company van to transport residents to and from outings and must have a valid drivers license and at least 21 years of age. Must be available for coverage when needed and available for emergency situations. Activity director will also perform special projects and office tasks as requested by supervisor/ administrator.
