Activities Assistant

Duties:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activities for residents in a senior living community
• Coordinate and manage the activity schedule to ensure a variety of engaging and meaningful programs are offered
• Provide support and guidance to residents in addressing aging issues and concerns
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with residents to provide emotional support and assistance with social work matters
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, their families, and staff members
• Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide emotional support to residents
• Strong organizational skills to manage activity schedules and ensure smooth operations
• Knowledge of aging issues and social work principles to provide appropriate counseling and support This role requires a caring individual who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
