Full Job Description Weekend Activities Assistant East Bay Post Acute Pay:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
Position Type:
Part-Time, Weekends Join Our Team! East Bay Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Weekend Activities Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with seniors, creating meaningful experiences, and making a positive impact every weekend. Responsibilities Assist in planning and leading engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities. Encourage resident participation in group and one-on-one activities. Set up and clean up activity areas and supplies. Escort residents to and from activities as needed. Document resident attendance and participation. Support holiday celebrations, special events, and weekend entertainment. Work closely with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team to meet residents' individual interests and needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working with seniors or in healthcare, recreation, or customer service is a plus. Friendly, dependable, patient, and compassionate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to stand, walk, lift activity supplies, and assist residents as needed.
