Job Summary Do you love dogs? If so, we have a great job for you! We are seeking part-time (25-30 hours per week steady) Camp Counselors to assist in providing a safe, happy, healthy environment for our four-legged day care and boarding customers. We are a premier doggy day care, boarding and training facility located in East County but serving all of San Diego. In this role, you will be responsible for: Performing dog monitoring duties in an open play environment Conducting doggy interviews to ensure that all guests demonstrate socially acceptable behavior in order to create a fun and safe experience for our Campers as well as Camp Counselors Monitor vaccination records with each reservation and check-in Ensure quality customer service at all times Ensure proper care and attention to each Camper Ensure a safe and clean environment at all times for dogs as well as employees Continually monitor and update task checklists to ensure all tasks are complete Monitor information for proper feedings, medication requirements and check-out dates Provide grooming services such as bath and nail trims Perform front office duties to include answering phones, data entry, customer interface, processing payments, checking dogs in and out and making reservations Perform continual cleaning to ensure a healthy and safe environment Monitor and insure adequate supply levels throughout Camp This position requires a Candidate who has: A loves of dogs Great customer service skills Ability to work any shift between the hours of 6:00am and 7:00pm Ability to work any day of the week (weekdays, weekends, holidays) Ability to work 25-30 hours/week Ability to perform kennel work and front office work Previous front office/customer service experience preferred Previous pet care experience is a plus
