Kids Camp Counselor |
Temporary Part Time Overview:
The Kids' Club Counselor is an enthusiastic, creative, and responsible individual who enjoys interaction with children and young adults. A Kids' Club Counselor will work closely with other Kids' Club Counselors and the Kids' Club Supervisor with direct oversight by the Recreation Manager. The position requires responsibility, the ultimate safety for someone else's children in an environment that is fun, natural, and educational. This is a Temporary position through the end of November 2026.
Responsibilities:
Interact with other departments to ensure that guests' needs are satisfied. Follow-up with guests once hotel departments to see that problems are resolved. Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome to the hotel. Provide proper supervision and a safe environment for our Kids' Club participants, ages 6 Months -12 Years. Provide zest and enthusiasm for your job each day. Play and interact with children at appropriate age levels. Register participants for daily programs. Enforce safety and security policies and procedures. Provide encouragement, support, and a thriving environment for all of our Kids' Club participants. Promote daily programs. Provide a variety of activity through various components including natural games, natural crafts, creative challenges, athletic individual and team play, and new experiences Document daily participation and notes as prescribed by policies and procedures. Assist the Events and Activities Department with providing adult and family activities. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results needed. Perform miscellaneous duties, which arise with the Department or as directed.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be at least 18 years old at time of hire. Experience with kid preferred (6months-12 years). Candidate must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push or pull up to 70 lbs. Candidate must have excellent customer service skills.
