Job Description

JOB Helix Water District is looking for a Part-Time Assistant Recreation Ranger to work at our beautiful Lake Jennings. If you love the outdoors and want to work on a talented team that provides top-notch customer service, we'd love for you to join us! There are plenty of perks to joining our Lake Jennings staff including: Competitive pay starting at $19.41/hour. Free fishing at Lake Jennings. Free private boat launch. Free day pass to enjoy the lake and its amenities.
The Details:
Shifts vary between 5 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. You must be available Monday through Sunday in the month of July. Typically, 16 - 25 hours per week. No more than 950 hours per fiscal year. (July 1 - June 30) This position is part-time with no benefits.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Assistant Recreation Ranger has a big impact on the experience our customers have at Lake Jennings. They assist customers with fishing and lake regulations, selling lake tickets, licenses and permits. They are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and security of the lake and surrounding areas.
