Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association is a premier active-adult community featuring two recreation centers at Orchard Creek and Kilaga Springs Lodges. Our community offers state-of-the-art fitness facilities, aquatic amenities, wellness programs, restaurants, a café, and a spa. We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused WellFit Monitor to serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests while supporting the daily operations of our fitness and wellness facilities. Position Summary The WellFit Monitor serves as a frontline representative of the WellFit Department, providing exceptional customer service and operational support to residents and guests. This role is responsible for validating member and guest participation, supporting day-to-day fitness center operations, monitoring facilities for safety, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment consistent with the mission and values of Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming residents and guests, verifying eligibility, facilitating check-ins, issuing and tracking locker and equipment keys, and assisting with resident ID cards, guest passes, class registrations, personal training appointments, pool reservations, and general facility inquiries. Support daily WellFit operations by opening and closing facilities, operating POS systems for program, retail, and concession sales, accurately handling cash transactions, balancing drawers, preparing reports, maintaining lost-and-found records, and ensuring facility signage and promotional materials remain current. Monitor fitness, wellness, and aquatic areas to promote a safe and positive environment; respond to emergencies in accordance with established procedures, maintain CPR and First Aid readiness, and promptly report safety concerns, incidents, and equipment issues. Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of fitness, front desk, and retail spaces; restock facility and office supplies; and troubleshoot basic office equipment while reporting maintenance needs and equipment concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent facility coverage, assist with front desk and pool monitor assignments as needed, follow department scheduling procedures, and contribute to a professional, welcoming, and team- oriented work environment. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS and scheduling software. Preferred Previous cash handling experience. Customer service, recreation, fitness, hospitality, or front desk experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong verbal communication and problemsolving abilities (English). Professional, dependable, and accountable work ethic. Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during busy or emergency situations. Commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safetyfocused environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements & Work Environment This position requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to interact professionally with residents, guests, and coworkers from diverse backgrounds. Employees must be able to regularly sit, stand, walk, and move throughout fitness centers, aquatic facilities, locker rooms, and community spaces. The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds is required. Work is performed in fitness centers, aquatic facilities, and front desk/office environments, both indoors and outdoors. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain, as well as humidity, aquatic chemicals, and varying noise levels. This role requires the ability to remain professional, friendly, and focused in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, changing priorities, and regular resident and guest interaction. Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours, is required. (
