Los Angeles, 90002
Term:
Temporary, 4 months with the possibility to go permanent
Schedule:
M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
What We're Looking For:
1-2 years of current experience in an elderly social or recreational setting is required Experience with decorating, including balloon decorations, is preferred Activity Leadership Certificate (Completion of certification is required within 30 days of starting this position is required) BLS Certification is required Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred
What You'll Be Doing:
Create and lead activities using art, music, games, dance, and community outings to promote social, emotional, and physical well-being. Design personalized activity plans that help seniors maintain or enhance their cognitive and physical functions. Collaborate with the care team (IDT) to ensure every participant has a customized and fulfilling experience. Coordinate fun community outings , bringing joy and connection outside of the center.
