The Recreation Supervisor assists in managing the overall operations of the Recreation Department within the hotel and beach operations. These activities could include beach, pool, child activities, and coordinating programs. This person will also have general management responsibilities to include interviewing, scheduling and counseling employees. The Supervisor will work closely with management and leads to coordinate special events within the property. This person will also learn payroll duties for the Recreation department. This person must have good communication skills and can work in a fast-paced environment. Must be fine with working outdoors all day.   • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. Must be available to work weekends
  • May require CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard Certification.
  • Previous experience in recreation or similar role
  • Must have previous supervisory experience
  • Must have a CA license
  • Good communication skills.
  • Can speak, write and read English fluently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able work outdoors all day in different weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 85 pounds.
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist body on a constant basis.
  • Ability to be in the sun for extended periods of time.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to take direction from Manager.
  • Ability to safely drive a golf cart and abide to traffic laws.
