Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking Support Staff / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Day Program team in Redding, CA. If you are a Caregiver, Direct Care Worker, Home Health aide or always wanted to be one, this is the opportunity for you as we are hiring immediately! As a DSP you would coach and foster engagement by leading workshops designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities. DSP's act as a life coach - they mentor and continuously engage individuals and lead groups through art, music, games, audio/visual, cooking, reading and other life enrichment activities. They also provide direct care support and behavioral interventions as needed and ensure timely and accurate documentation outlining daily progress. Earn $17.50 per hour.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) preferred Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
