- $35.60 to $42.70/hour depending on Qualification and Experience (100% FTE)

TODCO TODCO
is a community-based housing and neighborhood development organization serving San Francisco's South of Market. The TODCO Group developed and operates affordable housing for seniors, persons with disabilities, and SRO households, with eight residences and nearly 1,200 residents, and provides extensive resident services through the Resident Services/Activities Program (RSAP). Position Summary The APC/RT plans, coordinates, and delivers a comprehensive range of onsite/virtual activities, events, trips, and educational programs that encourage social connection, mental and physical wellness, and cognitive health awareness. The role collaborates closely with property management and RSAP staff to sustain consistent, high‑quality services across assigned sites. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Program Planning & Facilitation
- Coordinate and provide inclusive activities, programs, events, and trips tailored to the interests, abilities, and needs of a diverse resident population; introduce innovative program ideas and resources.
- Assess resident interests and needs via formal/informal surveys or focus groups; compile data, develop reports, and summarize findings.
- Produce outreach materials (flyers, monthly calendars, message‑board and web content) using varied communication methods. Collaboration & Partnerships
- Coordinate and collaborate with TODCO staff, contractors, and community agencies to implement building events, services, and programs; maintain open communication with property managers.
- Support and help implement the Recreation Therapy Internship Program and other volunteer initiatives; assist with supervising and training interns/volunteers as assigned. Outings, Logistics & Safety
- Plan and coordinate trips; drive residents using the company van when needed (8‑passenger).
- Set up rooms; order and manage program supplies and inventory; provide coverage/back‑up support to programs as needed.
- Maintain equipment/supply inventories and procurement processes; ensure rooms are set up to standard.
- Maintain accurate participant and department documentation; complete timely reporting and data entry for events and resident interests; note injuries or behavioral issues to appropriate staff and file Incident Reports as needed. Qualifications Education & Credentials (Preferred)
- Degree in Recreation Therapy preferred.
- Valid California and National Certifications (RTC & CTRS) preferred. Experience & Competencies
- 4 years relevant experience delivering therapeutic recreation activities with diverse adult populations (including seniors and adults with physical, mental, or cognitive disabilities); familiarity with supportive housing, dementia, substance use issues, and/or homelessness.
- Ability to plan, develop, and implement therapeutic recreation, social enrichment, and health/wellness programs, procedures, and systems.
- Effective communication skills; able to assist in supervising and training staff, interns, and volunteers; able to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.
- Culturally competent; able to work within multi‑cultural and multi‑lingual communities. Bilingual English/Spanish or Cantonese desired (not required).
- Proficient with data collection, analytics, reporting, and basic statistical analysis; maintain accurate statistical records and documentation as required by the City of San Francisco HSH, TODCO, or other funders.
- Professional proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, publishing, and related software.
- Knowledge of San Francisco/Bay Area resources relevant to resident programming. Licenses & Other Requirements
- Valid CA driver's license with good and clean driving record for previous 3 years; able to drive company van (8 passengers)
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs; room/equipment setup; extended standing/walking.
- Fully vaccinated; follow current

On‑time calendar publication; accurate and timely reporting to
HSH/TODCO
; safe trip execution and incident reporting compliance.
Workforce Development:
