We are a small business run out of the San Francisco East Bay and are looking for motivated individuals to join our team of instructors. Shine Bright Fitness was founded in August 2021 to help bring the benefits of an active lifestyle to people who struggle to meet their daily exercise needs. Our program is designed to help our clients improve their posture, gain strength and coordination, and to help prevent injuries that can occur from everyday life. Our adaptive fitness program provides specific exercises and activities that are designed to meet the physical and behavioral goals and needs of each of our clients. We incorporate aspects of corrective exercise and functional fitness. All exercises will be focused in the areas of muscular strength training, balance and coordination, gross motor development, aerobic and anaerobic cardio, and more. We strive to provide our clients with the skills to perform everyday activities injury free so they can live happy, healthy, and independent lives. Job Description We are currently looking for an Adaptive Trainer Assistant to assist trainers and clients when completing fitness sessions in the gym as well as provide general support. The Adaptive Trainer Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting with daily gym operations, welcoming clients and families, answering phones, scheduling appointments, responding to general questions and assisting the Gym Manager and trainers as needed. An ideal candidate willhave interest in and/or experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, and will be comfortable working with and around this population. Applicants must have the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, families, and other staff, and to provide dependable, team-oriented support while creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone visiting the gym.
