Role Overview:
A state-paid residency position for university students pursuing careers in education or therapy. Responsible for the direct delivery of the "Social Bridge" curriculum. Designed for young adults (Ages 18-24), this role focuses on peer modeling and operational support. You are the "energy" of the lab, modeling positive social cues for our students while assisting the Leads with logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Peer Modeling:
Demonstrate positive social interactions and curriculum engagement.
Operational Flow:
Assist with lab setup, transitions, and material prep.
Float Support:
Provide extra hands for 1:1 Aides during high-sensory or high-activity blocks.
Social Engineering:
Active facilitation of peer-to-peer interactions using the "10-Second Wait Rule."
Data Capture:
Daily logging of "Clinical Wins" and sensory state data on the Site iPad for SOI reports.
Transition Mastery:
Execution of the "3-2-1 Transition" and "Carry-Over Anchor" protocols.
Portal Concierge:
Assisting the Site Director in welcoming parents at the "Inclusion Portal." Mandatory Compliance (Pre-Start):
Dated Mandates:
Mandated Reporter Certificate (Dated before Day 1), HIPAA Training, and TB Clearance. 180-
Hour Cap:
Strict adherence to the 180-hour funding limit via the State Agency portal.
Compensation:
State-funded hourly wage via Workforce Agency.
Program Schedule & Commitment Duration:
8 Weeks (June
  • August) | Monday
  • Friday.
Shift A:
9:30 AM
  • 12:30 PM (Morning Block).
Shift B:
12:30 PM
  • 3:30 PM (Afternoon Block).
The Handover:
All staff participate in a mandatory 15-30 minute transition huddle between shifts to ensure student safety and data continuity.
Pay:
$18.00
  • $20.
