Role Overview We are seeking an energetic, creative, and highly engaged Summer Camp Counselor to lead our School Age Summer Camp program. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children ages 5-12 and is excited to create a fun, safe, and memorable summer experience. The Camp Counselor will be responsible for leading a group of up to 15 children , planning and implementing weekly themed activities, and building strong, positive relationships with both children and families. What Makes Our Summer Camp Special On-site field trips and special visitors Water play days and outdoor fun Weekly themed programming Hands-on crafts and creative activities Walking field trips (when available) A focus on FUN, engagement, and connectionKey Responsibilities Program Planning:
Design and implement engaging weekly lesson plans, crafts, and activities aligned with camp themesActivity Leadership:
Lead daily activities including games, outdoor play, water days, and group experiencesChild Engagement:
Actively participate with children—this is a hands-on, high-energy roleRelationship Building:
Develop strong, positive relationships with children, families, and team membersSafety & Supervision:
Maintain a safe environment with active supervision and accurate attendance trackingBehavior Guidance:
Use positive behavior management strategies to support a respectful and inclusive environmentOrganization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared camp environmentCollaboration:
