Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring energetic, positive, and reliable Summer Camp Counselors & Coaches for our Darien, CT camp from July 20-24, 2026 . This opportunity is perfect for teachers, education majors, collegiate athletes, softball and baseball players, coaches, graduate students, and college students looking to make a positive impact while working outdoors with children. Teachers and school staff Education and psychology majors Student teachers College students home for the summer Current or former collegiate athletes Baseball and softball players Coaches of any sport Camp counselors Individuals who enjoy working with children Responsibilities Supervise and engage campers ages 4-13 Lead games, activities, and skill stations Help create a safe and positive camp environment Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence Support daily camp operations Serve as a positive role model for campers Qualifications Experience working with children preferred Experience with Baseball or softball Coaching, teaching, tutoring, babysitting, camp, or youth program experience is a plus Strong communication skills Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the day Reliable transportation to Darien Ability to pass a background check
