Youth Center Assistant Town of Enfield Child Development Center Enfield, CT Job Details Part-time $17.50 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Employee assistance program Qualifications Teamwork Personal service experience with children Cooking Driver's License Working with youth Full Job Description The Town of Enfield's Youth Center is looking for an engaging and positive individual who enjoys working with youth ages 8-18. Our Youth Center is a welcoming drop-in space where Enfield's young people can connect, learn, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. We offer a variety of activities including basketball, pool tables, video games, cooking activities, homework help, and more. As a Youth Center Assistant, you will help create a space where youth feel encouraged, included, and excited to participate.
What You'll Do:
Supervise and engage youth ages 8-18 in daily activities Encourage positive social interaction and teamwork Assist with games, cooking activities, homework help, and recreational programs Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all participants
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Additional hours may be available during the summer.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children or youth required Positive attitude and ability to build rapport with young people Licensed driver preferred, but not required
