As an Activities Associate, your job will literally be delivering fun and games. Each day you'll organize and lead recreational activities to help guests enjoy their vacations and create lifelong memories with their family and friends. In coordination with the Recreation Director and Activities Supervisor, you'll also operate all activities related to cleanliness and presentation of the resort's pool areas, waterslide, splash pad, activity pavilions, cabanas, banquet rooms and common areas.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct adult and children activities.
- Set up and clean up activities immediately upon conclusion.
- Conduct arts and crafts with the adults and children.
- Monitor pools and slide - check wristbands, assure slide rules are being followed, no glass at pool.
- Monitor rules and participants at basketball courts, gaga pits, cornhole, and mini golf.
- Must be able to communicate basic resort information to guests.
- Conduct and monitor special events including but not limited to themed golf cart parades, foam parties, contests, games etc.
- Engage with guests to make them aware of events and activities taking place.
- Responsible for enforcing safety rules and procedures with guests.
- Help other departments as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be available to work week day, weekend and holiday hours.
- Energetic
- Possess excellent customer service skills and good judgement.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Deliver exceptional experience for guests.
- Skill in attention to detail.
- Must be fluent in English.
