Job Description

The Seminole Tribe of Florida's Elder Services Department is seeking a joyful and hard working individual that loves interacting and providing administrative day-to-day services to elders! This position is located on the Hollywood Reservation and full-time with benefits. •Please note: This is a not a patient-centered care position. Position Summary The incumbent in this position is responsible for supporting the functions of the Department of Elder Services of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This individual assists under minimal supervision from the Site Manger and Activities Coordinator with all of the daily activities, functions, and or day outings that the Senior Center has planned. This individual may be required to gather data and statistics of senior center activities and prepare any necessary monthly reports. Skills/Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience responsible for overseeing the activities of others is required. An equivalent combination of education and professional work experience may be considered. Incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Demonstrate positive, professional attitude and presence. Detail oriented with excellent follow through skills. Travel between all Reservations is necessary, and may require overnight stay for some in state and out of state trips when needed. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
