Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with product selection, including conducting product demos when needed Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cash drawer management Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to enhance their shopping experience Stock shelves and merchandise displays to ensure the store remains attractive and organized Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Assist with inventory management, including stocking new products and conducting stock counts Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring compliance with visual standards Provide bilingual support to serve a diverse customer base effectively (if applicable) Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in mall or specialty store environments such as clothing, accessories, or grocery stores Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team members or training new staff Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service excellence is highly valued Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising principles to enhance sales opportunities Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse customer demographic effectively Join us at Urban Country Outfitters where your energy fuels our success!
