Job Description

Overview Overview:
Vanderbilt Country Club is a premier bundled golf club, located in the heart of beautiful Southwest Florida. We are looking for a Golf Shop Attendant who is positive, energetic, and eager to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment, and will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Golf Shop. Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, check-in/check-out process, billing services to Golf Club members/nonmembers, answering telephones, scheduling T-Times, and processing reports. Individual must have customer service experience. This position is considered seasonal through May, with the potential of being year-round for an individual that proves themself. Excellent communication skills are encouraged. The pay range for this position is $14 - 18/hour based on experience Responsibilities Demonstrate a working knowledge and conduct opening, interim and closing procedures. Conduct operations through the POS system (reservations, check-in, processing payments, etc.). Provide exceptional member/guest service with enthusiasm and a smile. Provide inventory management assistance to the Merchandise Coordinator. Promote all club activities and services. Assist the Golf Professionals with tournaments and leagues junior instruction. Ability to work with others and as a team Perform cleaning duties in the Golf Shop as needed. Requirements High School diploma required 1 year customer service and/or retail experience Golf knowledge preferred. Strong organizational aptitude and communication skills. Professionalism and prior experience with POS systems. Advanced computer skills including Word and Excel as well as excellent written and communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Minimum of 24 hours/week and 3 days/week)
