Cherokee Town & Country Club, one of the nation's premier private clubs, is seeking a Part-Time Child Activities Assistant to join our team at the Town Club in Atlanta, GA. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Welcome children and help them feel comfortable, excited, and included. Provide attentive supervision while maintaining a safe and engaging environment. Lead games, arts & crafts, storytelling, and other age-appropriate activities. Assist with monthly themes and creative programming. Communicate with parents regarding their child's needs and experience. Follow secure child check-in and check-out procedures. Help children navigate conflicts and communicate behavioral concerns appropriately. Provide snacks and meals while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Keep the Child Activity Center clean, organized, stocked, and ready for fun. Assist with reservations, appropriate child-to-staff ratios, member billing, and reporting.
Requirements:
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
At least 1 year of childcare experience. High school diploma or equivalent. A friendly, energetic, patient, and service-oriented personality. Someone who naturally connects with children, parents, and families. Strong communication and attention to detail. Dependability and a team-first attitude. CPR/AED/First Aid certification or the ability to become certified.
WORK SCHEDULE
Our Child Activity Center is open seven days a week.
Current ideal availability includes:
Thursday:
4:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Friday:
4:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Saturday:
7:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
