Job Description

Camp Wagalong is a new, camp experience for dogs that offers overnight and day camp. We are looking for a team member to be both a camp counselor that focuses on the dogs as they rotate through activities as well as a Camp Host to serve the needs of our pet parents. There is also potential to help be one of our bus drivers if interested. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a servant's heart, an enthusiastic personality, and—most importantly—a genuine love for dogs. Come join our pack!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Help pet parents with customer service needs and provide exceptional care to clients and their dogs.
  • Supervise and actively engage with dogs in playgroups of 15-20 for social dogs or work with our solo campers who prefer to not be social
  • Open and close the facility securely, ensuring all operational protocols are followed.
  • Perform cleaning tasks and maintain a sanitary environment throughout the facility.
  • Feed and medicate dogs as required, keeping accurate feeding and medication reports.
  • Communicate effectively with camp co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods, indoors and outdoors.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience walking dogs of various sizes on a leash.
  • Reliable transportation is required, including the ability to transport a dog to the vet when necessary.
