Job Description

i9 Sports is seeking a
T-BALL / BASEBALL COORDINATOR
for our Brookhaven location. This is a part-time position with all activities on Saturday mornings (approximately 6 hour work day). The T-Ball Coordinator will set up equipment and fields, keep everything organized and assist the parent coaches who will be coaching players ages 3-6. The focus of this instructional program is the fundamentals of baseball (throwing, catching, running bases and batting) with emphasis on good sportsmanship. You must be 100% reliable. You need to know baseball but more importantly be able to relate to, and help young players ages 3-6.
BROOKHAVEN

  • one day per week (fall program is 6 weeks
  • Saturdays
  • begins Saturday, Sept 19).
Responsibilities Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players Teach & demonstrate core concepts with focus on good sportsmanship Manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition Set up and break down field equipment Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills Qualifications Some baseball playing experience required. Excellent communication skills Be a role model for athletes Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players Ability to work Saturday mornings (for the full duration of the season, 6 weeks) All employees and volunteers must complete a national criminal background check
