Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and energetic individual to join our team as a Front Desk / Activities Assistant . This dual-role position is vital to the smooth operation of our community. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and residents at the front desk, while also supporting the planning and execution of engaging activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This is a full time position with working every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties:
Greet and assist residents, family members, guests, and vendors in a warm and professional manner Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries Monitor visitor sign-in/out, manage deliveries, and maintain front lobby cleanliness Assist with scheduling tours and coordinating with other departments as needed Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mail distribution
Activities Assistant Duties:
Support the planning and implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly activity calendars Lead or co-lead activities such as arts & crafts, games, exercise classes, outings, and special events Encourage resident participation and engagement in scheduled programs Assist with setup, breakdown, and clean-up of activity spaces Observe and report resident participation and feedback to the
Activities Director Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in senior living, hospitality, customer service, or recreation preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Positive attitude, high energy, and genuine interest in working with seniors Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling software) Must be able to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to stand, walk, and move freely for extended periods Ability to assist residents with limited mobility during activities Join a team that makes a difference every day!
