We are looking for a positive, compassionate activities assistant to help the activities team schedule and coordinate events. The activities assistant will create and handle the logistics for daily, weekly, and monthly events at the direction of the Activities Director. They will assist the team in managing volunteers and resources, and delivering fun, safe events for our residents. You should be detail-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
Specific Duties:
12 hours/week Housekeeping duties for the dining, activity, bathrooms, hallways, empty rooms in the IL. Managing the activity calendar for the SNF Planting the flowers outside for SNF Assisting tenants with paperwork as needed Requirements for activities assistant: High school diploma or equivalent required. Job training, CPR, and first aide training may be necessary. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Physical fitness, ability to walk, dance, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands. Patients and compassion when dealing with others, especially those who are sick, injured, elderly, or from different backgrounds. Flexibility to work when needed, including possible evenings, weekends, or early mornings. We are an equal opportunity employer.
