Job Description

Compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Assistant dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in a skilled nursing facility. Experienced in planning, organizing, and leading engaging recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. Skilled at encouraging resident participation, fostering meaningful social connections, and creating a positive, supportive environment. Works collaboratively with the Activities Director, nursing staff, residents, and families to develop programs that meet individual interests and needs while promoting dignity, independence, and overall resident satisfaction. Activity planning and coordination Resident engagement and relationship building Group and one-on-one activities Cognitive and physical wellness programs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient-centered care Team collaboration and resident advocacy Event planning and community involvement
