EXS/5 Target hiring range for this position will be between $56,780 - $62,500 per year or per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Job Summary:

This position assists in the day-to-day operation and supervision of a comprehensive Sport Club program and helps oversees the annual Wildcat Summer Camp. The focus of the position is to enhance overall participant safety through direct supervision of Sport Clubs and Wildcat Summer Camp activities. Assistant Director, Sport Clubs and Wildcat Summer Camp reports to Associate Director, External Operations and Events.

•Willingness and ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Specific Responsibilities :

Sport Clubs Provide leadership, direction and supervision to Sport Club programs and oversee the day-to-day Sport Club administration. Collaborate with Risk Management to review sport club activities, facilities, and equipment to ensure adherence to safety regulations. Serve as the primary liaison for Sport Club events and practices ensuring adequate support and risk mitigation. Conduct Sport Club Officer training and familiarize all Club Officers with current department, university and program policies and procedures as outlined in the Sport Club Manual. Maintain and enforce Sport Club eligibility practices in collaboration with the Office of the Registrar and University Health Services. Assist with budget oversight of Sport Clubs, helping to ensure financial responsibility, making purchases, processing payments and oversight of Sport Club allocation process. Serve as the primary advisor/liaison between Sport Club teams and the university. Assist the Sport Club Travel Coordinator in management of travel processes and procedures.
