 Part Time, 2-3 shifts during the week, with an every other weekend rotation
Schedule:

We're seeking an Activity Aide to engage residents in a therapeutic program in our behavioral health facility. This is not a therapist's position, but you will help residents with life enrichment and entertainment to help keep them engaged in their recovery programs while they are with us. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in sports, culture, music, and traditional recreational activities, to help bring joy, structure, and stimulation to those in our care.

We're seeking an Activity Aide to involve residents in a therapeutic engagement program. You will help residents with life enrichment activities and a variety of entertainment options to help keep them engaged in their recovery programs. We are seeking candidates with a strong background in sports, culture, music, and traditional recreational activities, to help bring joy, structure, and stimulation to those in our care.

Activities Aide:
Officially we title this job an Activities Aide, but in other centers it may be called an Activity Aide, Activities Assistant, or even a Life Enrichment Coordinator.

What we need from you:

Prior experience as an Activity Aide in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), or Assisted Living Facility (ALF) is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, compassionate, and skilled at creating a welcoming environment that encourages resident involvement and participation.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) or patient documentation systems is preferred.

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).If assigned transport (driving) responsibilities, must maintain a valid driver's license and meet the organization's motor vehicle record and insurance eligibility requirements.
