District Discounts Apply online at www.mundeleinparks.org Summary The Fitness Floor Attendant is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining a clean an organized Fitness Center, providing excellent customer service, and monitoring the fitness center to ensure the safety of participants. This position requires some early morning and late-night hours, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications - Education, Experience and Training Must be 16 years of age or older. Minimum high school graduate or general education degree (GED) preferred with additional training or education related to the duties and responsibilities of the position. CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification required and if not certified, must become certified. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions Greet all who enter the building in a positive friendly manner. Clean and disinfect all fitness machines and equipment. Perform other cleaning duties as assigned. Organize and keep the facility in a presentable manner. Folding, stocking, washing, and drying of all laundry. Enforce facility use rules and guidelines. Provide facility tours. Assist in facility walk throughs and inspections Assist members with the safe and effective use of all fitness equipment and machines. Communicate all necessary information to the members regarding their membership. Report all accidents and unsafe conditions immediately to the manager on duty. Set up for group exercise classes: moving cycle bikes, put out equipment, moving lap lanes Assist with testing pool water for PH and chlorine levels. Attend required Department and District wide meetings. Perform opening and closing duties of the facility, as needed.
