Job Summary:

As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for our residents. You will work closely with the Activities Department to ensure that daily activities are performed without interruption, and that a calm and welcoming environment is maintained throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs and quality assurance programs Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement to evaluate activity progress Develop and maintain a good working rapport with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations Prepare activity rooms and areas for scheduled programs Provide daily activities for residents, adhering to individual care plans Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and adhere to facility guidelines Oversee residents during scheduled activities to promote physical, social, and mental well-being Assist with in-room residents, including visiting, writing letters, running errands, and completing crafts and projects

Qualifications:
