Known as "The Positive Place for Kids," the Boys & Girls Club provides guidance-based character development programs for youth ages 5-17, led by caring, professional staff. Our mission is to foster self-esteem and personal growth by creating a sense of belonging, purpose, influence, and competence in every child. Through engaging programs and meaningful activities, we empower young people to build confidence and reach their full potential. Program Activities Aide The Program Activities Aide leads age-appropriate activities that actively engage youth in areas such as arts and crafts, sports, reading, games, outdoor recreation, and technology. This role is essential in supporting the Club's three core focus areas: Academic Success Healthy Lifestyles Good Character & Citizenship This position primarily works weekdays from 2:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Essential Job Responsibilities Prepare Youth for Success Create a positive, supportive environment that promotes confidence and growth Encourage consistent participation in programs and activities Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth members Program Development & Implementation Plan, lead, and supervise engaging, high-quality activities Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere Monitor and evaluate programs to ensure meaningful experiences Keep program areas clean, organized, and well-maintained What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Experience working with children or in youth development preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide youth Ability to plan and implement creative, engaging programs Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to supervise members and maintain a safe, positive environment Valid driver's license (or willingness to obtain one) Must pass a background check Applicants must be 18 years or older Why Join Us?
