Hours Full-Time FLSA Status Non-Exempt Job Summary We're seeking an energetic and experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team! This position is full-time, 40 hours per week (9am-5:30pm), including weekend rotation. Time off during the week will be given to accommodate for the weekend coverage. Our Activity Coordinator is directly responsible for planning, implementing, conducting, and evaluating programs for assigned residents on both an individual and group basis in our Assisted Living Memory/Skilled Nursing area. Summary of Responsibilities Assists in planning, developing, and implementing activities/programs Assists with documentation Conducts group leisure programs as scheduled Prepares rooms, equipment and supplies prior to each program and cleans up Participation in care planning process including meeting attendance and Informs, invites, and motivates residents to attend programs Transports residents to and from programs Adapts activity content to meet residents abilities Responsible for safety of residents Attends/Coordinates outings Skills Proven initiative and talents in arts and crafts or music

• creative thinker Capable of working directly with the elderly in the area of leisure programs Relates well with senior citizens Works independently Ability to assess residents capabilities, limitations, and special needs Has good written and oral communication skills
