Henderson, KY 42420 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Tech to join our team in Henderson, KY. The Activity Tech will assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and social activities for residents to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and conducting daily activity programs tailored to the interests and abilities of residents. Engage residents in group and individual activities to encourage socialization and participation. Set up and clean activity areas and materials before and after events. Monitor residents during activities to ensure safety and well-being. Document resident participation and progress in activities. Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate special events and outings. Provide support and encouragement to residents to enhance their quality of life. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities coordination, or related field preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with elderly or disabled populations. Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor. Basic computer skills for documentation purposes. Work Environment This position is based in Henderson, KY and involves working in a healthcare or assisted living facility.
