Job Description:
Performs other duties as assigned. Provides timely reports to administration when requested and consults with management for situations outside authority or expertise. Assists with outreach activities and fulfills staffing needs outside normal business hours as required. Acts as a liaison between hospital staff, physicians, patients, patient families, and community partners to investigate, respond to, and resolve complaints. Assists with the development, distribution, and communication of key information as directed by hospital administration. Provides staff with feedback regarding their performance, coaches staff as needed, and monitors compliance. Assists department management in conducting annual and interim performance evaluations. Orients new staff to assigned areas to familiarize them with processes, equipment, safety, and mission plans. Actively participates in the development of staff skills, employee engagement, and customer and partner satisfaction. Monitors staff and equipment needs and communicates them to department management. Maintains ROI tracking and reporting, and analyzes ROI reports to establish new strategies and tactics for efficiency and optimization. Meets proactively with necessary individuals and key decision-makers to develop service and staffing plans. Works with strategically identified physicians to facilitate engagement with hospital programs and services.

Strong organization skills Required Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Required Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff Required Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel Required Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals Required Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Windows Preferred Entry level professional competency of Athletic Training theory, principles, and applications Preferred Must have exceptional communication skills Required Displays professional interactions with all levels of internal and external customers Required Ability to multitask; functions well in a demanding office environment Required Computer-related skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products and office equipment operations
Required Education:
Bachelor's Required Master's Preferred Field of Study:
in Athletic Training or related field in
Business Administration or Healthcare Administration Work Experience:
2+ experience in a clinical setting Required 3+ health care or athletic training experience Preferred Supervisory/administrative experience
Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) Required Basic Life Support•CPR Cert (BLS)
