Our community is focused on offering compassionate care to our seniors that may have experienced and acute hospital stay and require transitional skilled nursing and physical rehabilitation to restore function and return their home environment. We are offering immediate openings for an Activity Assistant. Offering New Pay Rates Including:

$13.00 per hour starting rate for all Full-Time 401K with Matching, Paid Holidays, Medical, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance.

Job Duties Include:

Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activities and programs for residents in a long term care community Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical, mental, and emotional well-being Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Collaborate with the care team to ensure the individual needs and preferences of each resident are met Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents during activities Assist in coordinating and facilitating events, outings, and special programs for residents Document resident participation and progress in activity program

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge and understanding of social work principles and practices Experience or familiarity with memory care and aging issues Excellent schedule management skills to effectively plan and coordinate activities Knowledge of senior care best practices and ability to provide compassionate caregiving support Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Proficient in event planning and recreational therapy techniques We look forward to having qualified candidates visit our community to explore these opportunities.
